BAS Accountant | Part-time | Work from home!

Our client is a medium size Chartered Accounting firm that embraces technology and allows their employees the flexibility to manage their own working hours and service clients from home. Due to continued growth, they are now looking to add to their Accounting team. This position best suits an experienced Accountant that is seeking flexible (part-time) working hours and has strong Xero skills.

They operate a flat structure enabling you to liaise directly with clients and manage jobs from start to finish. You will be compiling accounts and ensuring that all tax related obligations are met for a diverse portfolio of clients from SME's, trust and partnerships to through to larger entities and various stages of the business lifecycle. In addition, you will also be preparing monthly management accounts for select clients and providing advice on how best to improve their business.

Initially you will be working in the office to get used to their systems and processes as well as be initiated into the team. Once you are up and running you will have the flexibility to work in the office or from home. The role will be roughly 30 hours per week.

Skills and experience required:
3+ years' Accounting experience in a New Zealand Chartered Accounting firm
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Strong systems skills (including Xero)
