Liaising directly with the Partners, this role will see you responsible for driving the quality of the Audit services provided, have a hand in Business Development initiatives, and oversee the training and development of staff. Responsibilities include:
Liaising with the client with respect to arranging external audits.
Preparing annual engagement letters.
Managing staff resources for client audits.
On-site reviews of completed fieldwork.
Reviewing financial statements for accuracy and compliance with NZ IFRS.
Preparing comprehensive management letters at completion of the fieldwork.
Attending client completion meetings.
Billing clients and maintaining budgets.
Who we are looking for:
We expect the successful candidate to be CA qualified and will currently be working in a 'Big Four' or' mid-tier' practice. You will have prior experience leading a team of Auditors, and possess effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
