Our client requires an additional Tax Senior Consultant to deliver exceptional service to their varied client base of local and international clients. This varied role is with a well-recognized Chartered Accounting practice with excellent infrastructure and processes which enable them to provide a high level of service to their clients. With modern offices in the heart of the CBD, this role offers you the opportunity to maintain a work/ life balance whilst working for a reputable mid-tier CA firm with a great reputation as both an employer and an adviser.
This is a highly commercial role and your consulting experience will be essential as you work alongside a diverse portfolio of clients to analyse their tax portfolio and developing strategies to provide practical advice and solutions on a range of issues. In addition, you will play a vital role in the development of your team as you coach and mentor more junior staff members. You will also be assisting the Business Advisory Services team with complex tax issues.
Skills and experience required:
• 2 – 5 years NZ taxation experience in the CA environment covering a wide range of entities, sizes and industries.
• Ability to research and prepare written advice in relation to taxation.
• Able to work well with clients and establish a good rapport
• Excellent communication skills
